Note: This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future update.
macOS: If you don't have a password, click the OK twice to continue. Windows: If you aren't using a Windows password, you will not be prompted to enter it. Click the checkbox next to Require macOS Windows Linux authentication to autofill, view, or edit stored credit cards to turn it on, or uncheck the box to turn it off. Click the Privacy & Security panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section. Click the menu button and select Settings. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences. Please note, this is not your Firefox Account password. This requires your operating system password (or authenticate using your fingerprint, face, or voice login, if enabled) this is usually the password used to unlock your computer. Repeat for any other login credentials you want your browser to remember.To add further protection, you can select to require authentication before autofilling the credit card information. Select the Create New Login button to the lower-left corner of the window.ģ. 
Open the Firefox menu and select Passwords.Ģ. Unfortunately, you can only do that on Firefox and Safari. If your browser continues to have trouble remembering passwords for a specific site or set of sites, you can attempt to save the login info manually. Select Safari > Preferences on the menu bar and switch to the Extensions tab. Or, open the Edge menu and choose Extensions. Select the Extensions icon to the top-left of the screen and select Manage Extensions. Open the Firefox menu and select Add-ons and Themes. Or, open the Chrome menu, point to More Tools, and select Extensions. Here’s how to access your browser’s extensions manager. You can then isolate the problematic extension by reactivating them one by one. Extensions can create conflicts, so check if disabling them restores your browser’s ability to remember passwords.
